Short version: we collect what you type into the two forms on this site, it reaches us as an email, and we do not sell it or run advertising trackers on you.
Privacy policy
Who we are
This site is operated by Snackable LLC (“Snackable”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability company working out of Sarasota, Florida, United States. Snackable LLC is registered in Wyoming; its registered address is 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA. Day-to-day operations and all client work run from the Sarasota office.
For any privacy question, write to [email protected].
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and no more than that.
1. What you send us through a form. This site has two:
- The proposal request asks for your name, email address, phone number, company name, company website, the services you are interested in, your budget range, your timeline, how you found us, whether you need an NDA, and whatever you write in the message field.
- The review assessment asks for the link to your review page or profile, your email address, your business name and website, the number of reviews at issue, the grounds you believe apply, and how urgent it is.
Every field is one you type yourself. Submissions are delivered to us as email — to [email protected] for proposals and [email protected] for review assessments. This site keeps no database of submissions.
Alongside what you typed, that email records three things automatically: the date and time you submitted, the IP address you submitted from, and the page you submitted from. We use these to tell a genuine enquiry from automated spam. They are kept for as long as the enquiry itself is kept (see How long we keep it below), which is longer than our host keeps its own server logs.
2. Server logs. Our web host records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, your browser’s user-agent string. These are generated automatically by the server, used for security and troubleshooting, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, no session cookie and no cross-site tracking of any kind. Because nothing is set, there is no consent banner to click and no tracking preference to configure.
If this ever changes — if we add analytics, for instance — this page will be updated before it goes live.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our email. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Our web host — serves this site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Our content delivery network — sits in front of the site to serve it quickly and absorb abusive traffic. It processes your IP address in order to route the request.
- Google Workspace — carries and stores the email your form submission becomes.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site are loaded from
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com. Your browser requests them directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone beyond the providers above except where the law requires it.
Why we are allowed to hold it
You gave it to us in order to start a conversation about work. Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, our lawful bases are your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry about our own services and in keeping the site secure.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, so we have context if you come back. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the records are kept for the life of that engagement and then for as long as our tax and contractual obligations require. Server logs are kept on our host’s standard retention schedule.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, and we will.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights — and, as above, we do not sell or share your personal information.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
If you are in the UK or EEA and think we have handled your data badly, you are entitled to complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated on the server, and the directories holding our configuration and libraries are blocked from web access. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything highly sensitive through a web form — if a matter needs that, ask us and we will arrange something appropriate.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers are predominantly US-based. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
